Dear Members of the Good Counsel community:
UPDATE: Changes in Bus Transportation
We apologize for any confusion arising from earlier communication about this year's bus transportation schedule. After listening to the community’s concerns, we have made some changes. Please refer to this document for updated and accurate information about bus transportation in the Rockville area.
This year, the Good Counsel Transportation Department is pleased to announce an initiative that will affect bus riders from the west of campus, primarily those who live in the greater Rockville area.
For the first time ever, the Montgomery County Ride-On Bus will offer stops on the Good Counsel campus at the traffic circle at the main entrance, adjacent to the Maryland flagpole. By partnering with Montgomery County Government to pilot this program, we are able to offer families a no-hassle option that saves both time and expense.
The Ride-On Bus is a FREE service for students. To ride the Ride-On Bus, students must have a Youth Cruiser SmarTrip Card; after that, they ride for free. Students may obtain SmarTrip Cards at Good Counsel's school store, The Falcon's Nest.
Please note: The schedule below lists transportation options available through Coughlin Transportation (a pay-to-ride bus service that we offer through Good Counsel), as well as the free options available through the new Ride-On bus initiative.
