Serving Others
Community Service is an important part of each student’s Good Counsel experience. In addition to completing a required number of service hours each year, students contribute zealously and compassionately to our school community, local communities, and world community through many activities sponsored by classes, clubs, teams, and the Campus Ministry Office.

General Service Guidelines for the 2024-2025 School Year
- Every student must complete 20 hours of service each academic year. If more than 20 hours of service are completed it should be noted that the hours will NOT carry over to the following academic year. Service hours are entered via MobileServe, an application on each student's iPad. Paper service forms will NOT be accepted.
- Service hours must be completed at a site that serves the poor and marginalized. Below students can find a yellow button that shares "Service Site Opportunities." Student service hours must be done at a site on that page or at a site similar to what is on that page. If a student does not do service to the poor and marginalized, their service hours may be denied.
- All SUMMER service hours must be submitted via MobileServe by Friday, September 13, 2024 @ 3:30pm.
- Senior hours are due Monday, March 31, 2025 at 3:30 pm to the MobileServe app. No late hours will be accepted.
- Underclassmen hours are due Friday, April 25, 2025 at 3:30 pm to the MobileServe app. No late hours will be accepted.
