Description

Art is all about paintbrushes and pencils, right? NOT AT THIS CAMP. Ambitious Artists Camp aims to expose creative young artists to a wide variety of mediums including portraiture, abstract painting, hand building with clay, pottery wheel, and sculptural casting. On the first day of camp, Camp Director Nick Clulow will organize individual and group activities to gauge campers’ areas of interest and abilities. From there, Mr. Clulow will facilitate activities that not only appeal to campers of all levels but also encourage them to expand their creative boundaries and help them strengthen their artistic skills.

Individual Projects

  • Bowl on the pottery wheel
  • Hand-built animal mug
  • Color scheme circle drawings
  • Hand-casting sculptures

What to Bring

  • A lunch plan is available for purchase, or lunch can be brought to camp in a cooler
  • Full water bottle with camper's name on it
  • All other supplies will be provided
